I'm happy to announce that we've officially pushed our fix for the crashing and freezing issue to production in CAM version 4.30.2. This fix has been in CAM Beta for several months now, and we're confident that it has addressed the issue for the vast majority of users.

hi everyone that’s still having this issue with freezing who need an alternative fan control software for NZXT grid hubs use Grid Controller software from GitHub
It’s lightweight software detects NZXT fan hubs and can control your fans and set 4 stage curve based on CPU OR GPU Temps it requires open hardware monitor to get those temps but so far it has fixed all my freezing issues when browsing YouTube or playing games. The software just works for fans no RGB but it’s been a life saver for me

Continuing to have this issue, I now close the application but it means my fan curves do not kick in for the cooling. Imagine the surprise, buying an expensive cooler that you have no control over the fan profile settings because the application crashes your system daily...
hi starting recently ive been encountering more and more crashes where everything would freeze as is, sometimes u can move ur mouse but u cant click on anything, and others ur mouse is imovable. its really annoying to learn that its the nzxt software bcuz i thought i had a virus. i ran a few experiments but it seems to freeze or bug even without me playing games. my gpu or cpu are barely putting in work and it freezes which is when i learned its some software i have. im not able to access task manager or use ctrl shift esc which makes me forced to hard shut down often. when task manager is open and ur mouse is moveable, it doesnt display anything when frozen? please fix this NZXT, people have been having this problem for ages and its really shitty that u guys cant fix this.
hi I’ve been experiencing my Aio freezing on me every now and then, how can I resolve this?
I have deleted the app fully and reinstalled but still, every time I try to open NZXT Cam, the app crashes.
my computer just started doing this can helper can’t close and I have to hard reset everything by turning off the power in the back
I thought something was wrong with my pc as well this is a terrible bug
my AIO (Z73, I believe) continues to freeze after about a day or two of managing to get it working again. Only fix I have found is to unplug the cooler or to completely power down my PC and switch off the power supply.

Appreciate any help in resolving this completely. The LCD screen was purchased to provide comfort in knowing all loads and temps are in an acceptable range and obviously this isn't working out so well for me.

on start up It shows stuff on cam for a few seconds and flashes blank a couple of times before staying blank white screen. I have uninstalled CAM and reinstalled still with the same issues.
After buying a new processor, the freezing issue is here again.

"lately the CPU usage states during idle that it is jumping from 5-15% to 80-90% usage" yep, this is first symptom of freeze, it starts with rising CPU usage, then freeze. I could only use mouse, I can click, but nothing is responding.
Latest version of CAM beta was working for ~2 months for me, then 3 freezes and since then it's ok again.

So, follow up from yesterday, my PC: amd 5600x, win 10, built 3 months ago, so pretty fresh. Instant freezes from beginning, latest CAM (4.30.2) didn't work, switched to beta -> no freezies for ~6 weeks.
Yesterday 3 times in 90 minutes when I just surfed internet in Chrome browser, to be honest it always happen with Chrome opened.
Few weeks on beta was okay, today? 3 times in 90min... it's a joke.
