When CAM is running my system freezes. Apparently it's just a problem with the Ryzen processors.
I have deinstaled CAM and everything is going perfectly. sIf I deactivate CAM after starting Windows and close it, the pump no longer runs correctly. This does not work for me. Please fix that!
Hello - my name is Carolyn and I'm one of the new Product Managers here at NZXT working on CAM.
I'm happy to report that we've pushed a potential fix to the freezing issues in our Beta version of CAM for testing (beta version 4.30.0). This fix is specifically targeting AMD CPUs, but may resolve other freezing issues as well.
If you would like to be a beta tester for this issue, you can download CAM Beta at https://nzxt.com/software/cam and click the "Download CAM Beta" button at the bottom.
Please continue to post, comment, and upvote here on our board! We value your feedback and appreciate your patience while we work towards resolving this issue.

I.ve just bought a kraken x63 and I have the same problem. my PC is freezing when watching videos (Ryzen 3800x) only started after installing CAM software. also. didn't know I had to use CAM. think I'll be sending it back for a refund
I've been having this issue for at least 6 months. I was worried I had a bad piece of hardware. Looks like the culprit is CAM. The problem persisted after a format. I also have a Ryzen.
This is not my video, but it's the exact issue I'm experiencing.

It seems to only trigger if I'm watching or listening to any type of media while CAM is open. If I'm watching a video or listening to music, the video will freeze, and audio repeats the last sound until a forced restart. These crashes sometimes sound truly awful lol. But nothing else seems to trigger the lock-up. I've gamed with CAM for dozens of hours, and used other software without a freeze. It's only when music or video is also being played. On average I seem to get a crash (while watching/listening to media) every 3 to 6 hours.
0 issues if CAM is closed or not watching media.
Please fix
Same problem. Please fix this.....
