Thats an issue with your drivers/software for your cpu and gpu. not cam.. i had the same issue before... if you have any other sort of fan control programs or cpu/gpu overclocking programs installed together with cam, cam can have issues reporting system stats properly, if at all and can also cause large delays in realtime reporting....for example, when i had this issue, the culprit was the msi center app (i have a x570 msi prestige creation motherboard and with one of the more recent mobo firmware updates from msi, msi center gets auto installed when installing windows automatically and you can't switch it off)... the msi center app is and always has been a flipping nightmare due to its horrible lazy programming... whenever i tried to run it, all my other component control programs (msi afterburner, ryzen master and cam) all stopped reporting period and i couldn't control any of my fans on my system or gpu or my aio... so i had to totally unistall and then wipe all data for msi center and then reinstall all my other programs (msi afterburner, cam beta, ryzen master
I have found that msi aferburner works fine in conjunction with cam, but evga precision did not, neither did gigabyte's programs.... and as a general rule of thumb, do not install multiple control programs for the same component, as it can also cause issues with fan control and reporting and realtiume data access...so i only install msi afterburner... afterburner has never caused me issues, ever...
if you do have msi afterburner installed with cam beta, make sure to go into msi afterburners settiungs menu, make sure you have the "enable low level IO driver" AND "enable low level hardware access interface" both cehcked/enabled. Why you ask? BEcause this allow afterburner to operate on a diff level than what cam is using to mointor your gpu stats, thus they don't conflict with each other.
Chances are, following all of these suggestions will resolve your issues... once you have done all the above steps, re install cam beta and voila, everything should work perfectly now
