As a BioMED engineer, I'm continuously using an Arduino for diffrent kind of projects.
After I installed NZXT CAM I wasn't able to program the Arduino anymore.
I found out NZXT CAM is reserving all the Serial COM ports, which makes it unable to program the Arduino since its using Serial communication to program until I close NZXT CAM (after which all me LED's go back to standard white).
The link listed below maybe a usefull guide to understand the problem better;

A solution to this problem is to only reserve the port, thats only needed for communications to the HUB and / or the Kraken watercooler.
Still messing COM ports ...
Now we are in late 2023, and the issue still persists. NZXT come on, keep your fingers off COM ports your software is not using
Same here and I work for Microchip. Every time I need to work on my evaluation kits, I need to exit CAM
Is there any update related to this issue?
I'm having the same issue. Looks like this has happened before: https://www.reddit.com/r/NZXT/comments/fzx0ic/arduino_users_here_does_the_nxzt_cam_software/
