A lot of feedback from previous updates suggests that Auto-Updating causes more issues than is worth.
Have a pop-up for new update available but let the user decide if they want to upgrade.
I really love my Kraken Z63 and associated LCD; the implementation is fantastic! However, I will be replacing it ONLY BECAUSE of the auto-update function on CAM; NOT A FAN of this function! I want to decide what goes on my system and when; I want to choose. ASUS, Gigabyte and others have good AIOs with LCD displays, where I choose when updates are done. NZXT, I hate to loose you but this is on PRINCIPLE. FIX this...
I wonder if they know they're pretty much considered malware at this point. It doesn't even respect Windows 10's Metered Connection setting. So if you're on a Hotspot with limited mobile data, get ready to pay $$$ for your CAM update!
This is the only application where the user has no control over the update of the application. NO APPLICATION should or could force an update. Not even Windows.
