Good afternoon all,
I have the NZXT Kraken Z73 installed in the front of my case. (H710i)
I also play games.
But most of the time the GPU requires more air flow than the CPU to stay cool.
Having to choose CPU or GPU limits my computers ability to ramp the intake fans when only one or the other ramps up. If you had a setting that rampped the fans up in either situation, the PC would have the proper cooling no matter what.
I propose having three options:
CPU
GPU
CPU & GPU
I hope I make sense.
My best!
sh!t product / support for sure.. just use motherboard headers and Fan Control from github
Lol end of 2023 still nothing. Open source the CAM let people do it if you can't.
it’s 2023, what’s the update here?
I am the original creator of this post. I just wanted to let this company know that due to their complete lack of follow through or response that I will never purchase another product from them again.
Furthermore, I will be instructing anyone I know considering their products to shop elsewhere as there is zero support or innovation left in this comapny.
I have also purchased a competing product, the 5000D case, and will soon be removing the last bit of NZXT hardware and software from the system in the very near future.
I mean its been 356 days since the original post I think we have been patient enough.
Good day to you.
I think the best would have been Cpu + Gpu average temp and Cpu || Gpu highest temp
Kind a fix we need
I started this post in March when can we hope to see this implemented in a public release?
Omg this. I've been waiting for this since I got my pc.
I want to make my fans stop rotating if temperature is below 60C. Sometimes I run app that utilize CPU only, sometimes apps that use GPU a lot. So rn rear fan is set for CPU and top fan for GPU, but this is suboptimal.
This is a great suggestion. I had to consider this when I was building my PC, I have an H710i with a 3950x/Z73 exhaust up top and 2080 super liquid cooled with a x62 in the front. I had to pick GPU for the front rad settings and set it a bit more aggressively to ensure my case has positive pressure air flow and sufficient airflow. It would be nice to have your suggestion implemented, it would make the cooling system more intelligent for more scenarios and make the fans quiet when not needed.
I also would really like that and also propoesed the feature some time ago. This shouldn't be too much hassle to implement that. I hope they will do that!
