Hysteresis mode for temperatures

There was supposedly once a "hysteresis" mode that averages the temperature over a period of time instead of always reacting to a read value, is this possible?

Perfect would be a customizable timespan or a amount of readings to average, but obviously not too long, maybe 10 seconds/readings max.

This would solve the temperature spikes of AMD CPUs. Generally the CPU temperatures are about 7-10 °C too high compared to Ryzen Master.

this is due to tclt and Tdie temps being used.
