I would like to continue using CAM to manage cooling and my Kraken LCD, but I would like other software to control the RGB portion without issues, so I am suggesting CAM allow the option to relinquish control of certain devices to other software.
As an example, I use SignalRGB to control both NZXT and other ARGB devices. It worked without issue at first, but a recent update to CAM now requires SignalRGB to start BEFORE CAM or else it is not able to control NZXT RGB devices. As a temporary fix, I am starting CAM with a 35 second delay using a third party tool to allow SignalRGB to take control of the NZXT RGB devices before CAM starts.
