The maximize button is a rather intuitive feature that allows the user to increase the window size; typically making it fill the entire screen this is. This feature can be incredibly useful for allowing program to match the resolution of the screen the program is being displayed on. Especially when in the case CAM cannot be enlarged or edited in anyway to fit-to-screen. Only allowing users to minimize the program to tray.
An example of when this is useful would be:
"A user wants to have the program continuously open to the display in order to view PC monitoring information as the app is intended but, desire to have the program fit-to-screen in any desired resolution."
